Yogalogy is providing the Yoga Beginners Course in East Finchley studio on a regular basis.This is a perfect way to start yoga for beginners and suitable for anyone looking to revisit the fundamentals of yoga.
The course builds week-by-week introducing you to basic level 1 yoga postures (asanas) and healthy alignment principles; it also emphasises the importance of a deep and relaxed breath from which yoga practice unfolds. This course provides:

  • a steady and nurturing learning environment for new students
  • a forum for asking questions
  • an introduction to the level one yoga postures
  • an introduction to basic principles of alignment and action
  • an opportunity to learn about the body and how to prevent injury while practising
  • an introduction to the breath.

You will receive personal attention from an experienced teacher and will work at a pace that ensures learning. The foundation course provides an introduction from which you may improve posture, refine breathing, tone and strength the body, improve mobility and foster a greater ability to cope with stress. This course serves as a safe foundation from which you may confidently investigate the different styles of yoga in any of yogalogy’s level one or open-level classes.
Yoga Beginners Course is a 12 session course over 6 Weeks. There are 6 teaching sessions on Sundays and you will be assigned to 6 practice sessions during the week according to your level and availability.
