Our Private Yoga classes are tailored to your requirements and taught by our experienced team. Our targeted classes are geared towards your overall well-being, personal fitness level/experience and long term goals.
We also provide injury rehabilitation and management private session and Therapeutic yoga.
Whether you are an experienced yogi or a complete beginner, fancy a challenging or more restorative Yoga Class, we’ll be there to guide you through. Classes are scheduled to suit your personal timetable, with early morning, lunchtime, evening or weekend classes available 7 days per week. Hatha Gentle Flow ---This is a class designed to increase your flexibility as well as working on building strength and stamina through a gentle flow. Although this class is not specifically a beginners class but is a good place for beginners to start and build from, also it is suitable for those who would like a gentler form of the practice. This class is suitable for all bodies and ages.
Yoga Level 1 --- A mixture of Flow( dynamic movements with the breath ) followed by some standing postures. The pace of the class is slow and the emphasis is on building strength and stamina slowly and also learning how to bring your bodies into alignment that is sustainable and suitable for each individual. The class is suitable for all but accessible to those with less experience of the asana (postures) practice.
Yoga Open Level --- Similar to the Yoga Level 1 classes in style with options offered for more advanced poses. Suitable for advanced beginners and upwards.
Vinyasa Flow Level 1---A flowing style of yoga, harmonising breath and movement to bring strength, grace and freedom to the body and the mind. Level 1 signifies that the class is suited for beginners with emphasis on teaching alignment and building strength.
Vinyasa Flow Open Level --- Similar to the Vinyasa Level 1 classes in style with options offered for more advanced poses. Suitable for advanced beginners and upwards.
Candle Lit Flow --- This is a class for city dwellers to survive within the hubbub of urban life. We'll be using sound healing and a little bit of chanting to ease us into the space. then we will have a slow flow of asana to reset our nervous systems out of high alert and into bliss mode. There will be much focus on the breath with movement along with lots of words of wisdom to soothe the soul.
Ashtanga Level 1 --- The most athletic and physically demanding form of yoga. The foundation of this ancient system, discovered by the late Sri T. Krishnamacharya and his disciple Pattabhi Jois in the 1930's, involves a series of set postures practiced in sequence (vinyasa), there are six sequences in all, the first is known as the Primary Series.
In this class half of the primary sequence is practiced. We encourage the practitioners to build the practice at their own pace and never push too hard and injure the body and use modifications/props whenever needed.
A good all round class, suitable for advanced beginners and those who are fairly new to yoga or the Ashtanga practice.
Ashtanga --- Building on level 1 and advancing into the primary sequence.
Restorative --- A deep, quieting, nurturing restorative practice designed to rest your body and soothe your mind.
Meditation & Mindfulness --- Meditation drop in sessions are designed for people who have experience of meditation to support them in maintaining a regular practice. Ideally, you will have completed the Introductory Meditation course although this is not a prerequisite.
We begin with a 30 minute part-led meditation followed by a 30 minute facilitated discussion. Each month the discussions are based around a theme.
