Neda is a passionate yogini who loves to teach yoga to bring joy and wellness within the community. She has been practicing yoga for over 17 years. Around 7 years ago she decided to kiss goodbye a stressful banking career to pursue life on a lighter path.
Her dream of having a little studio from which she can spread love, joy, wellness, balance and stillness within the community finally came to fruition in 2015. Yogalogy is where her mind-body-soul come together in harmony. She is a qualified yoga instructor for various flow yoga styles. She has studied with various teachers and mentors. Her most recent 500-hour advance yoga teacher training was with Jason Crandell.
Kat discovered yoga in 2012 when she began looking for a way to release stress and tension from her demanding corporate job. She also needed to simply get fit.
Kat gained her 200hrs in Ashtanga and Rocket with The Yoga People, her intention being to help others discover the benefits of yoga as a tool to connect with themselves. She has also trained with David Swenson and regularly practices with Marcus Veda who awarded her the name ‘Polski Kat’.
As well as Rocket, Kat also teaches Ashtanga, Vinyasa Flow and Yin. Her favourite mantras are those of Larry Schultz, the founder of Rocket; ‘No effort is ever wasted’ and ‘You’re stronger than you think you are’.
She’s eternally grateful to all of her teachers on and off the mat.
With a working background in the law Olivia was originally drawn to yoga for the benefits to her physical fitness. She knew it was definitely having an effect on her body when after three months she managed to touch her toes with straight legs for the first time in her life!
Since that time she has seen her strength, flexibility and balance all improve steadily. She has also found her yoga practice helps her deal more effectively with the stresses of city life, providing her both with the ability to keep stress levels to a minimum and also with skills to remain calm when unavoidable work or personal life pressures arise. She understands the needs of busy city workers and can tailor her teaching to suit her students.
Olivia has completed 200 hours of teaching training in vinyasa flow with Jason Crandell, who was named “one of the teachers shaping the future of yoga” by Yoga Journal. She has also completed a further 200 hours of training Bridget Woods Kramer of the Anusara School of Hatha Yoga, one of the UK’s most experienced and well respected yoga teachers. Olivia's classes are light hearted and open to all, while still being challenging and maintaining a strong focus on correct alignment of the body.

Yoga is an excellent form of physical exercise that can help with weight loss, improving strength and flexibility and leave you feeling revived physically and mentally. However the main benefit of yoga is the transformation that occurs, when we reconnect to the deepest part of ourselves and rediscover who we are. It is from this place that we can truly show the world what we have to offer.
The majority of yoga begins with a physical practice, and indeed in most yoga classes the majority of time is spent in postures (Asanas). Students are encouraged to become aware of the breath, to use the breath to complement movement and to work with the breath to strengthen and lengthen the body. Yoga is not about contorting the body into difficult and impressive poses, it is about listening to the body and respecting limitations. Postures should always be adapted to suit a person’s individual needs.
Our classes include time for breathing techniques (Pranayama). By controlling the breath we can begin to control our mind and emotions. If you have ever noticed how the breath becomes shallow and rapid when we are upset or how it becomes slow and deep when we are relaxed, then it also should make sense that when we purposely slow down and deepen the breath we can experienced a state of relaxation.
Relaxation is just as important for mental and physical health as exercise and should not be overlooked or seen as a luxury. It is most definitely essential which is why relaxation forms part of all classes offered at Yogaology. The time for relaxation can also be used as an opportunity to use one's own affirmation to make positive changes in our lives.

I developed an interest in Yoga to deal with chronic back pain and asthma.
A consultant at St Thomas’s Hospital informed me that I would be on steroids for the rest of my life:-“What do you expect at your age?” Well in my late 40’s I thought there must be a better way than steroids, pain and a life limited by low expectation.
Yoga managed my pain and stiffness, brought better alignment to my body and then increased my strength. Yoga has made a great difference to my health. But the biggest effect it has had is to the quality of my life.
I strongly believe that at any age, and with any physical strength and aptitude Yoga can benefit.
Be the best version of yourself!
